Founded in February 2012 by Matt McCafferty, a third-generation dairyman millwright, Knight Industrial Inc. was built on decades of hands-on experience in industrial automation and material handling.
With 16 years at Foothill Industrial -- a Cannon Equipment installer since 1985 -- and 17 years of direct contract service for Cannon Equipment, our team brings unmatched expertise to every project.

A third-generation dairyman millwright, Matt founded Knight Industrial in February 2012. With 16 years at Foothill Industrial serving as a Cannon Equipment installer and 17 years of direct contract service for Cannon Equipment, Matt brings deep expertise in preventative maintenance, service, and installation. He previously spent 5 years at Dean Foods Creamery managing ammonia refrigeration, waste water, and boiler systems. Matt is HAZWOPER certified and trained in programming and controls.
